On Friday I noticed that the following birds were in the St. Cloud area =
in good numbers: Balt. Oriole, Rose-B Grobeak, and Veery (Sand Dunes =
SF). Bob Rodgers had a Harris sp. in his yard.

Saturday morning (9-1), on what was a slow day at Wood Lake in Richmond, =
Bob Rodgers and I were able to scrounge up 13 warbler species, including =
Chestnut-Sided, Wilson's, Cape May, and N. Waterthrush. It was hard work =
to get that many, with a number of single individuals, altho we saw =
three waterthrushes. Also got a Gray-Cheeked Thrush. We heard a report =
of a group of birders finding 3 Bay-Breasted warblers there. It was a =
very enjoyable time despite the low numbers (minus the tons of yellow =
rumps and palms), our having the pleasure of running into several local =
birders and sharing info and time looking.=20

By contrast, in the small space of my yard in the Clear Lake area this =
morning (Sunday), in a 30 minute stretch, I came up with 9 warbler =
species, including Golden-Winged and Magnolia. A nice wave came through, =
and I bet there were more species. The Nashvilles seem to be singing =
like crazy this year. I'm wondering if anyone noticed an influx this =
morning around here?
