[mou] Hooded Warbler/Otter Tail Co.

A male Hooded Warbler was spotted in Black's Grove Park (west of the town of
Wadena) just off State Hwy 29 in east-central Otter Tail County today (5/15)
at 1:00pm.

>From the parking lot go beyond the covered picnic shelter (an imposing log
structure) and take the trail where the orange bridge crosses the creek
(note:  this is NOT the smaller orange bridge that you can see from the old
log cabin).  Follow the meandering grass trail until you reach a "T," then
turn left.  This trail has been "scalped" down to bare dirt.  Travel
approximately 100 yards to where the trail takes a sharp turn right.  This
is the area where the bird was seen.

All four observers got two, good, unobstructed views within 20 yards of the
bird.  A thrill!
