The White-faced Ibis reported by Bob Schroeder was present yesterday,
May 25th at 2:25PM along MN Hwy 7 in Corvuso.
As Bob reported this is about 13 miles west of Hutchinson.
The bird was feeding in the puddle right next to Hwy 7 on the north side =
of the road.
Estimated distance from the road is 20 to 30 feet!
Very well marked individual, the white around the face is very easy to =
see.
This isn't too far from where a couple Ibis' were seen a couple years =
ago...
Thanks a bunch Bob! Great bird. And easy-peasy to find.
I also heard but never saw a Kentucky Warbler at the Williams Nature =
Center
on MN Hwy 68 west of Mankato. From the entrance turn left and walk the =
paved
trail to near the 2nd bench. The bird was singing from somewhere in the =
underbrush
near here.
This is a "traditional" spot for Kentucky's...
Take US 169 south out of Mankato to MN Hwy 68 west.
Go 3/4 of a mile to Williams Nature Center.

Rochester, MN
PS - didn't see any loons or cuckoo's in Meeker county........
