While a Scarlet Tanager is a bird that nests in Dakota County, I have =
never heard of it coming to a feeder. I have two males that came to my =
Goldfinch feeder yesterday evening and than again today. A picture from =

birds are eating the thistle and sunflower chip mix. Today, one of them =
took some grape jelly. I've added some fruit for them to eat, but have =
not seen them on it yet.
This is not a rare bird, but people are welcome to try to see it at my =
house. The feeder is in back so it is easy to park in my drive and ring =
the doorbell.
