Saw two large owls around 500 feet apart sitting in dead birch
overlooking 
highway between Taconite Harbor and Sugar Loaf area. Could not detect 
features. They seemed to be facing west as I was driving in that
direction. 
I could not stop to check because of heavy traffic.
