I got an email from Dave Williams from Winona. He emailed me to let me =
know that he found a Northern Hawk Owl on the Stone Lake Rd about a half =
mile east of County Rd. 7.
The funny thing is that I gave him directions to find Great Greys and he =
ends up finding a Hawk Owl instead! Good find. I heard predictions from =
owl banders and other sources that this year will be a invasion year for =
Great Greys, Boreals and more than likely Hawk Owls. So this sighting =
maybe just a sign of things to come.=20
