A male American Wigeon, bald pate, was seen this morning in the back 
entrance ponds of the Embarrass Rice Paddies.
It was associating with a pair of Trumpeter Swans.

There were two pair of Northern Shovelers in the front ponds along with 
Blue Wing Teal,  Mallards,  and Ring Neck ducks.

Lots of Harriers and Bald Eagles.  No sign of the Peregrine seen last 
year.

The rice paddies are located in NE SLC, approximately two miles east of 
the junction of Hwy 35 and Cnty Rd 21.
