Have you made your plans to participate on a Minnesota CBC yet this
season? Looks like there will be 67 counts to choose from this year with
only 28 of those occurring on the first weekend.

You could contribute to one of the highest count totals for one of the
usual leaders; Bloomington, Duluth, Excelsior, or Winona counts.

How about making a trek via ski in places far away from traffic and noise
such as the Beltrami Island State Forest, or Itasca State Park.

Do you need a vacation? Why not take a day off of work to help on one of
the weekday counts while at the same time giving yourself some therapy by
spending time on that birding hobby you enjoy so much.

Have you ever been to Mountain Lake, Roseau, Hibbing, or Morris? They are
all on different count days this year.

Fargo-Moorhead, Grand Forks-East Grand Forks, Afton-Hudson, and
LaCrosse-LaCrescent are all counts that have significant territory outside
Minnesota... but they are no less important.

What birds are you most after? What County list needs your attention? Take
a look at the maps and data search tools on the MN CBC website to find the
best CBC to join this season.

I encourage and invite you to join us this anniversary season!

Stay Warm, and Stay Focussed!
