Around 4 pm this evening I saw a snowy owl on County road 7 approximately 1
mile north west of Ryan where the road makes a 90 degree turn. It was sitting
on the snow and flew off into a small valley. A falconer friend saw it in
the same area yesterday. Using the link Mark Alt sent I believe it was an
immature male.

There were also Gray Partridge in a dig on the south side of the main street
in the city of Goodhue.
