Try Houston Co. Rd. 4 between Houston & Spring Grove
along the South Fork of the Root River, through
Yucatan & Black Hammer. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005.

Starlings-----75-100+/-
Eastern Bluebirds-----15+/-
Cedar Waxwings-----30+/-

These species all feeding on Red Cedar
"fruit,"berries."(?)

Made a quiet scene.

Caution: In flight, Starlings resemble Bohemian
Waxwings: Same size, pointy wings, swooping flocks.

Required "pishing" to get them up out of the branches.

Look for Townsend's Solitaire this location.

Should be Yellow-rumped Warblers this location also.

Finally: Wild Turkey-----75+/-
         Bald Eagle-----1, Immature, 1st or 2nd year?
