I forgot to mention a request that was given to me by an Aitkin Law =
Enforcement Officer a week and 1/2 ago while I was up their =
photographing. He said he had received several complaints, especially =
from people that live on 5 South of 210, that a number of people were =
pointing cameras or scopes in the direction of their houses. He said the =
people who contacted him had not problems with us being there, but just =
where our optics were pointing. He also said no laws were being broken. =
But, out of courtesy, he asked if I could some how get the word out to =
bird watchers and photographers to be sensitive to this complaint and =
respond to it out of courtesy for the people in the area. He said it =
would be a goodwill guesture. So I told him I could and would pass along =
the request on the two birder networks I belong to. After that, I hope I =
was discreet enough as I turned my bazooka lens away from the direction =
it was pointing! It was focused on a owl in a tree but in the general =
direction of the house.
