I just returned from Park Point where I saw *two* Parasitic Jaegers side by side,
one an adult light morph with elongated central rectrices, and the other a light
morph (probable adult) that was similar in size to the first jaeger, but its
central rectrices were not seen. Both jaegers were smaller in wing span than the
adult Ring-billed Gulls they were harassing. The adult Arctic Tern was still
present at 2:00 PM at the Lafayette Square location--which is at 31st St on Park
Point, not 33rd as previously posted.
