Tom Auer just called to report a number of unusual birds seen during today's Hawk
Ridge Birdathon in Duluth. At least two Red-throated Loons (RTLO) and a Western
Grebe (WEGR) were seen from the viewing platform near the airport on Park Point.
His party also saw an adult Parasitic Jaeger (PAJA) and an adult Arctic Tern
(ARTE) from the viewing platform behind the Park Point Community Center (Lafayette
Square) at 33rd St.
