I got off my leash again.

Once more I subjected myself to the possibility of severe stroller injuries=

as I traipsed across the fairgrounds in order to put in time at the MOU boo=
th=20
at Minnesota's Great Get-Together.

I spotted folks with faces sporting a rainbow of pastel colors produced by=20
nearly edible foodstuffs on a stick coupled with vomit-inducing rides.
=20
I saw so many people carrying purple St. Thomas bags that I was sure that i=
t=20
was a venial sin to be without one.
=20
=20
I gave my =E2=80=9CIf I didn=E2=80=99t want you to stare, I wouldn=E2=80=
=99t be wearing this T-shirt
=E2=80=9D award to a woman wearing one reading, =E2=80=9CThe last thing I w=
ant to do is=20
hurt you, but it=E2=80=99s still on my list.=E2=80=9D=20
I glowed like an award winning pumpkin as I had the opportunity to work=20
with Marsha Moreen and her mother. What great folks.=20
I enjoyed visiting with fairgoers about my pop-up field guide to the birds=20
of Hartland.=20
The endless procession of the human condition that passed before me =20
included competitive eaters whose favorite animal was something deep-fried =20=
on a=20
stick, but there were many others who stopped by the booth. The nicest peo=
ple=20
asked about birds.=20
