Our goal is to get 500 citizens to the State Capitol this year. Please =
help us reach this goal - to protect our water now and for future =
generations. To assist you in your recruitment efforts Patience Caso =
with Clean Water Action has put together a Turnout Toolkit. This =
toolkit was designed to make turnout for Protect Our Water Citizens' Day =
at the Capitol as easy and painless as possible for MEP member =
organizations. In it you will find templates for a postcard, a handout, =
a poster, and ideas for email alerts and phone scripts. Use as much of =
the information provided in this toolkit as you want. Please customize =
the materials to mention your organization.

Wetlands Summit
February 4, 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Normandale Community College, Bloomington
The Wetlands Summit is an outgrowth of the Rally for Ducks, Wetlands and =
Clean Water, attended by more than 5,000 people on the Capitol grounds =
in April 2005. The Rally called for holding a Wetlands Summit to review =
current programs and problems, and identify corrective measures needed.
There will be a registration fee of $20 per person, with a reduced fee =
of $10 for certified students. The fee will include morning and =
afternoon refreshments and a noon lunch in the College cafeteria. =
Parking available. Please return the Registration Form with payment to =
the Minnesota Division IWLA address listed or call (651.221.0215) =
