[mou] Dakota Co. Shorebirds report and more

Checked a few Dakota Co. shorebird sites late Sunday afternoon.

Lake Byllesby:  No shorebirds.  While the water has rissen, there is still 
plenty of exposed mud and sand that should attract shorebirds.

140th St:  No shorebirds seen.  Water levels are dropping,  Habitat is good.

180th St.  2 Dowitchers (prob. Long bills), 1 Lesser Yellowlegs.  Water is 
quite high.

Jirik Farm (Blaine & 200th)  10 L.  Yellowlegs, Lots of puddles.

Etter Bottoms (CR68 just into goodhue Co)   Water levels have dropped and 
most of the habitat has vanished.

Other birds of note:
Bonaparts Gull @ Lake Byllesby
Great Egret    - 24 in and about little pond accross Cliff form old Lebanon 
Hills entrance.
Loggerhead Shrike - Emery between 170th & 180th.
Sparrows -  6 species seen, several in flocks, including:    Lincolns & 
Clay-colored.
