My Husband and I birded at the 180th Street Marsh today from 3:30PM - 6PM.
There were three Great Egrets (did not see the Snowy Egret there today),
three Great Blue Herons, Canada Geese, American Coots, Blue-winged Teals,
one female Hooded Merganser (swimming with the Blue-winged Teals!), eight
Lesser Yellowlegs, a Wilson's Snipe, and a Wilson's Phalarope. We were
really happy when Laura Coble pulled up and was able to identify the
Wilson's Snipe and Wilson's Phalarope for us - THANK YOU LAURA!!!!

There was also a Turkey Vulture that came down towards two Blue-winged Teals
in the water and forced them to take flight. It looked deliberate, but
perhaps the wind had something to do with it. Would a Turkey Vulture take
on live ducks?

I will have photos to add to my website soon!
