Spotted Sandpipers: watched two courting. I've never seen this before!
Male puffs up his chest and approaches the female, strutting with wings held
stiffly out and down at his side. Female fans her tail up like a tom turkey
and then runs away. they then acted as if nothing was happening. I was
sorry that work called before I could watch the finale.
