This bird was again very vocal on Wednesday (10th) from about 8:30 until we left at 9:30. The call and song are identical to several different recordings, but due to it's location in the middle of the airport runway area (read very high security area) it's unlikely there will be a visual confirmation (unless he feels like perching high on a fence). Jeff Stephanson obtained some pretty decent recordings that will be submitted for review. The bird was easily heard from outside the Rochester Aviation buildings. The entrance road is west of the main airport entrance. Please be respectful of the property and business. The airport is located on County Road 16 just off highway 63 south.
