I was scanning Big Stone Lake from Hartford Beach on the South Dakota side
at about 7:00 this morning (5/12) when I saw a flock of 11 cattle egrets
working there way north along the Big Stone County shore of the lake. 3
Cattle egrets also flew by on the South Dakota side about a minute latter.
