I birded near the path by my house. Highlights include:
Blackpoll Warbler (male, 1)
Am. Redstart (1 male singing, 1 female)
TN. Warbler (1 singing)
C. Yellowthroat (1 male)
Warbling Vireo (2 singing)
At another nearby pond, two warblers present:
Nashville Warbler (1 female)
Yellow Warbler (1 singing)
There was also a B-W Hawk, a Am. Robin juv. vocalizing for its parent, a =
sleepy "First Summer" B-C N Heron, and a very angry-looking Green Heron! =
There are now two very lonely E. Pheobes singing near my house. (Those =
who want directions, e-mail me.) Although its not really May =
temperature, its a great day for birding!
