Hi everyone,
I travelled out to where I found the snowy egret yesterday morning, =
and couldn't get near the marsh. Road construction is going on right now =
and it is down to one lane of traffic going past the marsh, so needless =
to say, I could only take a quick, binocular-less glance. I did see a =
lot of egrets at the far edge, one of which may have been the snowy, =
but as Craig Mandel stated in his posting yesterday, a lot of great =
egrets have been present there. And they certainly weave in and out of =
the reeds, disappearing completely at times. I just wanted to post this =
for anyone interested in coming down to search. Viewing is not =
impossible, if one were to park a ways away and walk back to the marsh, =
but I didn't want anyone wasting a trip down here and getting =
discouraged by all the heavy machinery.

Good birding!
