We saw a green heron today in Roseville Central Park. It was sitting on a
culvert grate in the ditch right by Victoria St. (east side of Victoria) and
appeared to be fishing. It seems awfully late for a green heron, isn't it?
We were thinking it was probably injured but it looked all right. However,
they are usually pretty jumpy and it didn't seem to even notice us as we
walked by with our two dogs. We'll look for it when we go down there
tomorrow.
