Ann Russ reported that she found a Townsend Solitaire, Black-backed Woodpecker, and Gray Jays at Taconite Harbor today, as well as two more Black-backed Woodpeckers at Temperance River State Park. I also have a belated report from October 15th of a Varied Thrush in a flock of American Robins in Grand Marais near 3rd Street and West 3rd Avenue. Jim Lind
