Vern and I saw the Spotted Towhee in Austin at 3:10pm on Saturday. We =
first saw it sitting in the bush next to the three pine trees near the =
street. It stayed there for a minute and then flew across the street =
(north) into the low growing junipers next to the street. It scurried =
under the junipers. I had'nt read of anyone who mentioned the junipers. =
It might be a place to keep an eye out for it in the future.
