Linda Sparling saw a flock of 10 Spruce Grouse this morning along Lake County Road 2, 2.4 miles north of the Sand River. They were picking grit along the road and flying back and forth among the roadside trees. She also relocated the Northern Hawk Owl this afternoon along the Rice Lake Road, about a quarter mile north of the Martin Road. Jim Lind
