At 9:30 am, my mom woke me up, exclaiming that she just saw the wren at =
our birdbath. I was up quicker than a heartbeat, for it's been over 2 =
days since they were last seen. I went over to talk to my neighbor about =
it (dark brown house.) She said since 9am, she has seen both Carolina =
Wrens at her feeder. I also talked with my dad who said he saw the wren =
very close to our house at 8:30am. A little after I talked to my =
neighbor, I found one of the wrens in a small pine close to our shed, =
along with a junco. As if on cue, Howard Towle arrived, but then the =
wren flew away! During his visit, I saw it briefly when it flew from my =
neighbor's feeder to a large pine, but we were unable to relocate it =
again.
Also, the wrens seem to be getting along with the cardinals and =
juncos, since they have foraged with them several times. Those who want =
to come out today, come at your own risk, for the wrens are acting very =
cautious today. My address is 6701 Glenwood Avenue (but you can only =
access my house on Idaho Ave. North.) Well, I guess these wrens can be =
show birds and snow birds! Good Saturday to all-
