The Western Great Lakes Owl Monitoring Project is still looking for  
volunteers to survey assigned routes in March and April  of 2007! 
 
Volunteers are asked to drive a 9 mile route, after sunset, stopping every  
mile to listen for 2 minutes for calling owls.  Each survey takes  
approximately 45 minutes to complete.  Each route will be surveyed 3 times,  once during 
each of 3 periods spanning the peak breeding season for owls.
 
Survey periods are:
March 10-18
March 19-April 8
April 9-22
