Bill Stjern and I saw the green-tailed towhee in Mountain Lake this morning (Saturday) from 9:10 a.m. till 9:30 a.m. Another car had been there since about 8 a.m. and had watched it for an hour or so. It was flocking with house sparrows, into and out of the shrubs by the house, and onto the ground below the feeders. Good looks.
