Hello All,
Just as Jim Otto reported earlier, I saw the Barrow's Goldeneye on the MN
side of the Mississippi River from the Visitor's Center at Freedom Park in
Prescott, WI at 11:30 a.m. this morning. In addition, I saw the Mtn.
Bluebird at 3 p.m. today with a flock of 12 or so Cedar Waxwings at the top
of a deciduous tree in the distance between the 2nd and 3rd power poles east
of Presley Circle on the north side of 175th St. As reported by others, the
Gyrfalcon was present at 3:30 p.m. on the irrigation equipment on the south
side of 180th St. approximately half-way between Emery and Donnelly. It was
actively hunting among the flocks of Mallards.
