There is an active Bald Eagle nest on the eastern shore of Lake Elysian. =
I have observed the female setting on the nest for over a week. The =
nest is so close to the road that you can stay in your car and see it =
well without binos. =20
MN Hwy 60 touches the northern border of Waseca County just east of the =
town of Elysian. Take Co Hwy. 3 (East Elysian Lake Road) south from Hwy =
60 for only about 3/4 mile. The nest is across the road from a farm =
yard with evergreens near the road. Park by the evergreens and look =
west towards Lake Elysian.
