Steve Millard joined me as we looked for Short-eared Owls at Rothsay last
evening. We didn't do as well as John Ellis did last week but we did see
several Owls. We also saw at least 5 Northern Harriers hunting and
interacting. We also saw a flock of about 20 Redpolls.
However, on my way back to Bovey today, I saw a Eurasian Collared-Dove in
Pelican Rapids. It was on a power line at the far western edge of town on
CR 30 right across from Soberg Construction Co. This was at about 2:00 PM.
