Shelley Steva and I were out for a couple of hours on Saturday, and saw
at least 50 Red-tailed Hawks in the air.
Other raptors seen in Pennington, Red Lake , and Polk Counties on the
weekend included:
Bald Eagle
Northern Harrier
American Kestrel
Rough-legged Hawks

Other migrants that showed up on the weekend were Eastern Bluebird,
Red-winged Blackbird, and Western Meadowlark. Killdeer are back in
numbers also.
