In talking with Phil Chu -- who initially brought this to my
attention -- and then looking at the posted image on the MOU web
site, we felt it should be pointed out that the Eurasian Wigeon
appears to be a hybrid. Phill will post something later this evening
and include more details on what plumage characteristics are
responsible for this conclusion.
