A Barrow's Goldeneye was found this afternoon (3/26) at Kabekona Narrows on Leech Lake. Go north from Walker on MN 371 for approx. 3 miles and turn right after bridge to access the boat launch area.  The bird does not appear to be a hybrid, but I do not have much experience with the range of variation.  Photos of bird at www.deep-portage.org/rphotos.htm
