My Husband and I found two Horned Larks playing in the gravel road at the
intersection of 180th Street and Hogan Avenue in Hastings today. We put one
of the photos we took of them on the home page of our website. Also, the
past four days there have been a good 20 Bald Eagles soaring over Hastings
and Hwy 10 heading towards Prescott. We've found the best place to observe
them is in the Eagles Watch development of homes off of Hwy 61 (across from
the John Deere dealership). We also spotted two Buffleheads (a male and a
female) in some water off of General Sieben Road in Hastings.
