Hey everyone-

I took advantage of the nice day and headed out to the 140th St.
marsh and the 180th St. marsh to see what's around. As others have
reported, the 140th St. marsh is bone dry and may be lost as a
birding hotspot. The 180th St. marsh on the other hand was really
fun. Highlights included 9 species of waterfowl:

Gadwall
American Widgeon
Mallard
Blue-winged Teal
Northern Shoveler
Northern Pintail
Green-winged Teal
Ring-necked Duck
Lesser Scaup

Also saw FOY Am. Kestrel, Turkey Vulture and Song Sparrow.
