This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Thursday April 25th, sponsored by the Minnesota Ornithologists' Union.

On April 24th, a male PAINTED BUNTING was found at a feeder in Aitkin County just southeast of the town of Aitkin. After 4:00 PM you can call John Richardson for directions at 218-829-2119.

Karl Bardon found two CALIFORNIA GULLS in Clay County on the 25th. They were at the Clay County landfill, which is located two and a half miles south of U.S. highway 10 on Clay County Road 23.
