This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Friday, August 1st 2008.
A WHITE-EYED VIREO was still at Murphy-Hanrehan Regional Park in Scott County on the 27th. It's being seen along the pet trail about 200 yards south of marker #29.
A PRAIRIE FALCON was in Cass County on the 29th, at the Longville Water Treatment Ponds. Summer records of this species are especially rare.
On July 27th, a SUMMER TANAGER was near the north pond in the northeastern part of French Park in Hennepin County.
