Paul Sitz saw two Western Kingbirds today around 2pm on the electric wire
along Highway 10 at Ramsey Blvd/CR 56 in the city of Ramsey.

Later around 4:30pm he saw a Black-billed Cuckoo on the north end of Nelson
Pool at Sherburne NWR. He said he got a good look and it had the red eyes,
paler narrower-banded tail, without any touch of roufous tone in the wings -
it flew before he dug out the camera. About 20 min previously, he had seen
a Cuckoo definitely, and, lacking more than a quick look, a guess at a
Black-billed, in the area of Big Bluestem Pool - possibly the same bird.

Also at Sherburne, three Sandhill Cranes, one by Big Bluestem, and two by
Nelson (which is drawn way down), Eastern Kingbirds, several Meadowlarks,
Common Yellowthroats, several Yellow Warblers, female Harrier, and a Bald
Eagle by the nest. There were many Red-winged Blackbirds, but no
Yellow-headed.
