In fact, the MOU publishes faithfully in the Loon the very data Alex 
desires. It requires a little research, but it only took me 11 
minutes to go back through the last 21 years of the Loon and compile 
the fall arrival dates (in the north) over that time period for a 
couple of test cases, Lapland Longspur and Snow Bunting.

Lapland Longspur, fall median arrival date (fall 1985 - fall 2005): 
13 September
[range: 4-20 Sep]

Snow Bunting, fall median arrival date (fall 1985 - fall 2005): 5 October
[range: 22 Sep - 16 Oct]

I know, not everyone has been a member long enough to have 
accumulated 21 years of issues, but a good library will have what you 
lack. Anyway, the point is, the information is already out there; 
that's what the MOU does. It's okay to wait for someone else to parse 
it for you, but if you'd like it sooner, it's in the pages of the Loon.
