The winds were gusting from the west today so I headed down to Park =
Point and scanned the lake with Tom Auer.

- Jaeger species seen flying over the waves very quickly heading to WI =
Pt. The jaeger was to far away to decided what species it was.

- sanderlings & semi-palmated plover

- TONS of yellow-rump & palm warblers migrating over the lake and unto =
to the shores of Park Pt. Tom earlier was on a research boat out in the =
lake and saw several yellow-rumps crashing in the lake.

- adult male peregrine falcon cruising the shoreline as were other =
raptors.

- several flocks of common terns and bonaparte's gulls riding the waves =
looking for food.

For only spending 2 hours at the point it was fun.
