If people think this is off subject than I apologize in advance but since this is a
listserv about bird sightings I thought it might be relevant..
I was checking out sightings of particular birds for this year on Ebird and I started
wondering how many members here use Cornell's Ebird sight or even know about it for
reporting sightings to the larger birding community..

I know that anyone who participates in PFW has their data automatically reported to Ebird,
but you don't have to do PFW to submit data..
It's worth a look, I was looking for Siskins and I was surprized to find that they seem to
be farther south in the state than the other Finches invading the state this winter..
