Other than the Artic Tern found this morning, I spotted 4 Red-throated =
Loons in the same general area. The Artic Tern was a first one I found =
on my own. It was flying close to me giving me great views for =
documentation. The loons were close to the beach so you can see the red =
throats. The birds were feeding in the muddy water on Lake Superior and =
I wonder if the smelt or other small fish were in these waters as large =
rafts of gulls and terns were just flying by and diving in the muddy =
waters.=20
