Hello all,
My brother Chuck and I found a flock of 14 trumpeter swans (6 adult, 8
immature) on the Shell River just north of the Shell City Cemetery on
Wadena CR 24. This is about a mile south of the Wadena/Hubbard County
line. The swans were feeding in the shallow water on the east side of the
bridge. They were making soft honking sounds while feeding, almost like
Canada geese.
Good birding!
