It would be best for those wishing to bird the East
Kalmar Landfill Reservoir in Olmsted county to
stay on the public road on 70th Av NW and respect
the NO TRESPASSING signs posted around
the perimeter of the reservoir.
Although the birding can be great it is NO TRESPASSING
and we need to respect the law if we expect
others to do the same.
Directions from Rochester:
19th St NW west to 70th Av NW.
To get to the East Reservoir turn right and go 1/2 mile,
the reservoir is on your right.
To get to the South Reservoir go straight, in 1/2 mile the
reservoir will be on your left.
