This morning Randy Fredrickson, his wife Jean, friends Dan, Dave and
Lynn and I birded around the county and found 121 GREAT GRAY OWLS, 4

HAWKS, a small flock of SNOW BUNTINGS along C.R.24, a RUFFED GROUSE, 4

C.R.24
(18 birds), C.R.5 south of the junction with highway 210 (19 birds).
Other birds this weekend: the BOREAL OWL near McGregor (thanks to Cindy
Butler Risen!!!) on Friday night, 2 BLACK-BILLED MAGPIES just south of
Palisade, 3 other NORTHERN HAWK OWLS ( total of 7 birds this weekend --3
on C.R.1, 1 on C.R.24, 2 near Rosberg and 1 along C.R.5 just south of
Palisade).
