We see that Ben Fritchman made a successful visit to see the Whooping Crane
reported near Swanville in Todd County.  Unfortunately, we tried
UNsuccessfully for a couple of hours later in the day.  A couple of times we
even cruised by the very spot Ben mentioned in his earlier post.  So, be
aware that if you plan a pilgrimage to the Crane, that a sighting is not
necessarily a lock.
