I reported a first time Oriole hanging out at my feeders after our big =
snow in Rochester on Nov. 10th and was totally surprised. But, I looked =
out the window today and what was digging in the rocks below my feeders =
eating sunflower seeds was a male Oriole! An Oriole in MN at the end =
of December! It appears to be holding a wing a little differently but =
seems to fly short distances pretty easily. It also let me get close =
enough to get some very good pictures. Bummer that we didn=E2=80=99t =
see it last weekend at the Xmas bird count here in Rochester!
