Several new pages have been added to MOU-NET. You can access these pages
from the index page for MOU-NET
http://www.moumn.org/
1. County Checklists, provided by Robert Janssen, have been updated to
include all of the Minnesota Counties.
Checklists -> County Checklists
2. A graphical representation of these checklists has been provided.
Occurrence Maps -> (season)
These maps indicate, by color, the relative occurrence of species inside
Minnesota for the four different seasons. This is a monumental effort done
by Robert Janssen. It indicates the relative occurence of all the species
seen in Minnesota. The occurence is, of course, of the birds in their
particular habitat, not an indication that you would be able to find a
specific species anywhere in a county. These maps are still being updated,
so if you find something that does not look right, send a note to me
(david@cahlander.com) or Robert Janssen.(RBJanssen@aol.com)
3. Listing input. A web input of your county list information to the
"County Club" or the "300 Club".
Listing -> Edit/Enter your County List Numbers
Listing -> The 300 Club
Listing -> The County Club
I have entered information for this listing for those who have logged into
the Seasonal Report system. The information is not the latest information
submitted for the listing summery for The Loon, but numbers from last year.
You should be able to update your numbers at anytime during the year. These
numbers will be used for future input to The Loon listing summary.
